The Flåm Railway has been described as one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world and is one of the leading tourist attractions in Norway. The train runs from the end of Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the Sognefjord, up to the high mountains at Myrdal station. The journey features the finest aspects of the stunning scenery of Western Norway.

Our train runs daily services between Oslo and Bergen. The train from Oslo to Myrdal takes around 4.5 hours. At Myrdal Station , you can change to the Flåm Railway. This will take you down to Flåm in one hour. Between 1 May and 30 September, a daily express ferry runs from Flåm to Bergen City. The journey leaves Flåm at 15.30. The trip takes approximately 5.5 hours.

On this journey we will show you the best Western Norway has to offer when it comes to fjords and mountains. We will take the scenic Bergen Railway from Oslo to Myrdal and the breathtaking Flåm Railway, ranked as one of the world´s most beautiful train journeys to Flåm. After a few days in the UNESCO-area we will show you the hidden gems of Bergen.
We will explore the charming and picture perfect villages of Flåm and Aurland. We will stay in the UNESCO World Heritage Site area close to the fjord and eat local homemade meals. We will travel from Aurland to Bergen by express boat or train depending on the season, both picturesque. In Bergen we will explore the famous sights and the hidden gems of Norway´s second largest city Bergen together.

of THE BEST OF THE WEST TRIP. The destinations are the same, but on one we offer a true adrenaline kick and high pulse in addition to the stunning beautiful landscape, the charming villages and the city of Bergen.
Adrenaline Kick Tour;
For the adrenaline version we have put together the ultimate activity day in Flåm including Flåm Train ride; the Flåm Zip line and a bike ride down Rallarvegen. Feel the pulse rise as you set off on the longest zip line in the north and bike through some of the world´s greatest scenery. Since Bergen is known as the city between seven mountains, we will hike the steep trail and stairs named Stoltzekleiven and continue to Mount Fløyen for amazing views of the city and take the cable car back to the city on the adrenaline version of THE BEST OF THE WEST.

Rallarvegen Bike Tour
Cycle from the mountain to the fjord in summer. Rallarvegen, "the Navvies Road" has been named the most beautiful cycling trip in Norway on a number of occasions, and it’s popular among Norwegians as well as foreign tourists. On this trail, you can enjoy everything from magnificent mountain landscape to impressive engineering and the beautiful Flåmsdalen Valley. The route is mainly on gravel road and is relatively easy, so anybody with a little cycling experience can cycle here.
