Ålesund

is where mountains and fjords meet the ocean. It is one of Norways prettiest and most unique cities.  The Loen trip combines Ålesund with the small village of Loen situated innermost in Nordfjord, in the heart of Fjord Norway, below the great Jostedalsbreen Glacier. Get ready for gondola, panoramic views, the emerald colored lake, fjords and picturesque old farmhouses.  

Ålesund has some of the world´s most unique Art Nouveau buildings. We will explore the city, walk up Mount Aksla for sweeping views of the area and enjoy fine dining and our unique hotel before we head to the hot spot of the west; the Loen village.  

Loen

is home of Loen Skylift, that will take us from fjord to sky, 1011 metre, in 5 minutes. The Skylift gondol is the perfect way to explore the mountains and get amazing view of fjords and mountains. We will visit The Lovatnet lake to see the blue-green glacier water and beautiful surroundings. 

There are two versions of THE LOEN TRIP:

Summer;

One is summer adrenaline tour; "Via Ferrata Loen" where we climb high above the fjord with our expert mountain guide and we go for a long hiking. Summer skiing is also an option.  

Winter:

In winter we go snowshoeing and with fast-paced sledges down the mountain.

The other version of the Loen trip is more relaxed and you can choose between SUP or kayaking in summer and our winter hikes will be easy as we do easy snowshoe walks.
